Events Policy
First and foremost, the Technopôle Angus is a place of business. Events are occasionally held at its facilities, adhering to the policies set out below.
All events must be approved by the Société de développement Angus and its management team.
Types of events allowed*:
Events for a charitable cause supported by the Société de développement Angus.
Events organized by Technopôle Angus tenants or partners.
Other types of events can be hosted at the Technopôle Angus, subject to current rates and approval by site management.
Locations:
Espace Louis R. Roquet: this large venue is located on the main floor of the Locoshop Angus and can host up to 500 people.
Léopold Beaulieu and Michel Hébert Public Squares (varying capacities).
Conditions:
Monday to Friday: evenings only, beginning at 5pm.
Saturday and Sunday: daytime and/or evening.
Set up must respect on-site tenants and noise levels must remain low at all times until 5pm.
Liability insurance with at least $2M in coverage is required.
Some additional fees may be required, including a porta-potty fee and additional clean-up fee.
For events that include a meal service, Technopôle business owners must be invited to offer their services for the event. If an agreement can’t be reached with these businesses, external vendors may be accepted.
Rental fees do not include tables, chairs, sound systems, etc. Equipment rentals for events are at the organizer’s expense.
It is the organizer’s responsibility to ensure that any health regulations in effect at the time of the event are followed.
A temporary venue rental agreement will need to be signed before the event takes place.
