The Espace Angus is an interpretation centre dedicated to the history and evolution of the Technopôle Angus. This community space takes visitors on a journey to the heart of a unique collective vision — the transformation of the Angus Workshops into an innovative, dynamic eco-district.

Through exhibitions, interactive installations and a variety of activities, the Espace Angus takes visitors through the various stages of this revitalization project and how it has impacted the community. It is also an opportunity to gain insight on the future projects that will continue to make the Technopôle Angus an inspiring example of sustainable development.

The Espace Angus will open its doors to the public on certain occasions, for open houses and special activities. Group visits can also be arranged to learn more about the Technopôle Angus and its urban eco-district. Reservations can be made for meetings, workshops or events at the Espace Angus.

Guided tours are great for learning more about the history behind this unique site and what makes it a true eco-district. There are two components to the visit: First, you will learn how the old industrial wasteland was transformed, before heading out to see the Technopôle Angus site in person to better understand what makes it unique.

Designed for: Post-secondary institutions, social economy businesses, architecture firms, municipalities and any other organizations interested in sustainable development and urban planning.

Renting the Espace Angus

Book a unique venue for your next event

In the heart of the Technopôle Angus, the Espace Angus offers a welcoming, bright, modern venue that is ideal for meetings, workshops or events. It is a multipurpose space that also allows you to delve into the history of the district through its interpretation centre, with a permanent exhibition on the Technopôle Angus, and the Voix d’Angus, an interactive multi-sensory installation.

The Espace Angus can accommodate a variety of events. Whether it is for a work meeting, training session, private visit or a resident committee meeting, our goal is for as many people as possible to be able to enjoy the space. All event proposals will be reviewed by our team.

Reservations can be made at the Espace Angus during the opening hours listed below. Each reservation must be for at least 3 hours:

Monday to Friday: 9 am‑5 pm

Seated: 40 people
Standing: 65 people

The Espace Angus is equipped with:

3 tables
40 chairs and stools
1 TV and 1 sound system
1 fridge and 1 sink

No dishes, cutlery or kitchen items are supplied — please arrange to bring your own.
